Story of Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir
The temple was built in the seventeenth century and takes its name from its red sandstone structure. It has a high shikhara and a courtyard with a Mahavira shrine, and the main deity is among the Tirthankaras.
The Charity Birds Hospital was established to care for injured birds, in keeping with the Jain principle of ahimsa.
