Palani Murugan Temple

The sanctum sanctorum houses the principal deity, Lord Murugan, in the form of Dhandayuthapani, depicted with his consort Valli and Devasena. The temple complex features numerous halls, mandapams (pavilions), and shrines dedicated to various deities and saints.The pathways leading to the temple are adorned with ornate pillars, sculptures, and inscriptions, providing a glimpse into the temple’s historical and cultural significance. The temple is surrounded by the picturesque Palani Hills, adding to its scenic beauty and spiritual ambiance.
