    🕉About Mata Vaishno Devi Temple Darshan

    The shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi stands in a cave on the Trikuta hills, reached by a trek of roughly 12 to 13 km from Katra. Inside the cave, the Goddess is worshipped in the form of three natural rock formations, the pindis, associated with Maha Kali, Maha Lakshmi and Maha Saraswati.

    The shrine is administered by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. Along the route are Ardh Kuwari and the Bhawan, and many pilgrims continue to the Bhairon Valley temple.
