The Vindhyachal Temple, also known as Maa Vindhyavasini Temple, is a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to the mother goddess Vindhyavasini. Situated on the banks of the Ganga River in Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh, it is one of India's Shakti Peetha temples. Legend holds that Vindhyachal is the abode of Goddess Durga, who chose the site after slaying the demon Mahishasura.
