Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India is a large Hindu temple complex inspired by Yogiji Maharaj the fourth spiritual successor of Swaminarayan, and created by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the fifth spiritual successor of Swaminarayan according to the BAPS denomination of Swaminarayan Hinduism.

Swaminarayan Akshardham Mandir is a relatively recent addition to the rich tapestry of Hindu temples, inaugurated on 2 November 1992 by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS). The temple is dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan, the founder of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, who emphasized devotion, morality, and service to society.
