The Legend of Pandavas
After the Mahabharata war, the Pandavas felt guilty for killing their kin. They sought Lord Shiva to absolve their sins. However, Lord Shiva was annoyed with them and wanted to avoid them.

The Bull Form

To hide from the Pandavas, Shiva took the form of a bull. Bhima recognized him and tried to catch the bull by its tail. The bull dived into the ground, leaving its hump on the surface.

Why Visit?

The energy at Kedarnath is unlike anywhere else. Surrounded by snow-clad peaks, it vibrates with the chants of “Om Namah Shivay”.
