JAI BABA KEDAR

One of the 12 Jyotirlingas

Nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3,583 meters, Kedarnath is one of the holiest pilgrimages (Char Dham). It is believed that Pandavas built the original temple to seek redemption from Lord Shiva, who appeared here in the form of a Bull’s hump.

  • 🪨 Architecture: Built with massive stone slabs in traditional Himalayan style.
  • 🧘 Samadhi: Adi Shankaracharya took Samadhi behind the temple.
